Silk Lame Braid

Rainbow Gallery:  Silk Lame Braid #18 as it comes off the card is great for 18 count needlepoint.  Stitch it with a #22 tapestry needle. Use Size 13 for 10 to 14 ct. This is a true braid of fine strands of silk and metallics.  It has a wonderful silk hand and the metallic gives it an elegant sparkle. Best to use a shorter length and a larger needle. Especially useful for open stitches for water and skies and makes beautiful tassels and twisted cords.
