Lorikeet wool

This wool is soft and luscious. Perfect for needlepoint, crewel and historic stitching, Lorikeet is a 9 strand, 2 ply yarn. You can do fine needlework by just plying it down to 1 or 2 strands or do 13 count needlepoint with it straight off the skein! For the historic stitcher - Most colors are varigated, but several are saturation is such that the varigation is extremely subtle and won't jar the eye on a reproduction piece. 6 yards, 9 strand 100% wool Hand dyed in the USA. Hand washable in cold water.
